/Iowa News Articles/ - URBANDALE, IA, July 05, 2008 - Midwest brides can rest easy because local DJs will now receive the training and education they need to make their receptions successful and fun. Mobile Beat in association with the American Disc Jockey Association and NLFXPro.Com are producing the Chicagoland DJ Show in Skokie, IL on July 14-16, 2008. It is being hosted at the Holiday Inn North Shore Hotel and Conference Center.

"This industry as a whole has come a long way in recent years thanks to trade shows like the upcoming Mobile Beat DJ Show. Our own Chicago DJ service was founded back in 1990, and over the years we have struggled to find quality educational events like this one, which are geared towards mobile DJs. When we started, trade shows like these were nothing like they are now. We're very excited for the Mobile Beat DJ Show to hit Chicago and look forward to attending the seminars and learning about the latest trends and resources in our industry. These Mobile Beat shows offer an innovative platform for resources and technology in the mobile DJ industry." said Kevin Freese, owner of Bass Control Productions

The conference will spend 3 days educating mobile disc jockeys on everything from marketing, and being the perfect host or MC for a wedding to unique perspectives on event production and more. National industry speakers will be presenting and vendors related to the disc jockey, wedding and event production industries will present their products and services on an exhibit floor open on two of the days. There will also be events in the evening to help the professional mobile DJs learn in a event atmosphere how to produce parties to a higher level. Please note that this is a professional conference for disc jockeys and not brides or party planners.

"The profession of disc jockey has been seen as a variance from the DJs in clubs and on radio to the professional masters of ceremonies that you would want entertaining at your wedding or party. We are here to make our industry stronger and more professional" - Ryan Burger Mobile Beat Magazine Publisher.
